Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation

Every individual affected by the problem of drug abuse is eager for change. Yet the process to recovery is often the case of two steps forward, one step back. Through effective interventions, emotional support and guidance, we hope to help drug abusers to rebuild their identity and lead a healthy life.

Listening to the stories of drug abusers, we find that they have all – to varying degrees – experienced trauma, which hard-to-heal and lost-lasting effects are detrimental to rehabilitation. Understanding the plight of these cases through the prism of trauma-informed care, we understand that drug abuse is often their last resort to cope with the pain of trauma. A deeper understanding of the relationship between drug abuse and traumatic experiences can help us address the emotional needs of drug abusers and facilitate continuous and stable recovery.
